It’s been too long!

Happy New Year! Yes, we have been MIA.  We’ve been busy like everyone else. Hard to believe the holidays are over and we finally started back to school this week. I am very thankful for that! I have been brainstorming many ideas for the blog but finding the time to get them done or written down seems to be put on the sidelines quite often.

So, here we go. We are going to give it another shot. Maybe we can get some consistency for this blog in 2013!

Did you make any resolutions? Luke has been trying to get me to make some but we haven’t sat down to go through them quite yet. He is much more goal oriented than I am! I think resolutions stress me out a little bit. If I put all of this work into thinking of them and then I don’t do them then I feel like a big failure! Who wants to feel that way?

So, I think I am just going to stick with the generic get organized and continue to get healthier. There are some other things that I will probably work on but we’ll start with those.

I’m going to throw myself under the bus again. On Sunday I cleaned out my closet. Oh my! It really needed it! I am not very good about getting rid of things I don’t wear so it was time and it looks so much better now.

Isn’t that awful? I know every time I walked in there I couldn’t wait to get out because it would stress me out. So, I pretty much took everything out on Sunday and started over. I took three bags to Goodwill and have some things to take to a consignment shop.

I think the thing I am most proud of is the fact that I cleaned the disaster area of where I keep my jewelry. In all, it looks SO much better and now I actually know what is in there. It’s not quite perfect yet but I am also working on a project to better organize my jewelry and make it look pretty. Stay tuned for that!

So, now that I let you check out my messy closet I am curious if you have any resolutions? Have you done anything to work on them yet?

Happy New Year,

Jenni
